What a day out looks like
Every tour leaves from the ranch in Shida Kartli and comes back to it. Transport is part of the price and so is the driver, which is why a tour and a rental car cannot go on the same booking — you would be paying twice for the same seat.
The cave city of Uplistsikhe is next door and about three thousand years old: an Iron Age settlement carved straight into the rock above the Mtkvari river. Gori and the Stalin Museum are ten kilometres away. Further out are Mtskheta, the wine roads of Kakheti, and the Georgian Military Highway climbing towards Kazbegi.
Booking a tour without a room
Tours are sold separately from accommodation. Each one is priced per person and carries its own date, and that date does not have to fall inside a stay — you can book a tour on its own, a room on its own, or both together on one order and pay once.
If a tour runs over more than one day, the nights in between are not in the tour price. You are free to stay wherever you like; most guests just take a room here and leave the luggage where it is.
Getting here and back
Private airport transfers run from Tbilisi International Airport (TBS), about an hour and a half away, and from Kutaisi International Airport (KUT), about two and a half hours away. They are priced per car rather than per person, in each direction separately, so a group pays once.
Some tours already include the airport pickup in their price. Where that is the case the site says so and will not let you add a second transfer on top of it.
What comes with every stay
Free Wi-Fi across the property, free private parking by the gate, and a farm breakfast of bread, cheese and preserves from the valley. The gazebos, the hammocks and the long tables under the trees are not an extra either.

- Yes. Transport is included in the price of our tours, so you do not need to arrange a car or a driver separately for a tour you book with us.
- Can I book a tour without staying at the hotel?
- Yes. Tours can be booked on their own, without a room. Each tour is priced per person and carries its own date, which does not have to fall inside a stay.
- Which airports do you run transfers from?
- Tbilisi International Airport (TBS), about an hour and a half away, and Kutaisi International Airport (KUT), about two and a half hours away. Transfers are priced per car and per direction.
- Are the nights included in a multi-day tour?
- No. On a tour that runs over more than one day, the nights in between are not part of the tour price. You can add a room here to the same booking, or arrange your own stay.
- Can I cancel a tour or get a refund?
- No. Bookings cannot be cancelled and nothing paid is returned. The only exception is if we cannot run what you booked, in which case we cancel it and refund you without you having to ask.
