How renting from us works
We are a family-run guesthouse beside the Uplistsikhe cave city, not a rental desk in an airport terminal. You book the car the same way you book a room — pick your dates, see the price for exactly those days, and pay online in Georgian lari. There is no counter queue and no upsell at handover.
The car can be collected here at the ranch, or delivered to you at the airport. Either way you deal with the same people for the whole trip, which is the point: if a road is closed or a plan changes, you are calling the family that owns the car rather than a call centre.
How the rental day is counted
A rental day is twenty-four hours from the moment you collect the car. Take it at 09:00 and it is due back by 09:00 — the calendar date does not matter, the clock does. That is what the price on the booking widget is per.
Coming back late costs a fixed amount for each hour, paid in person when you hand the car back rather than charged to your card afterwards. The exact hourly figure is shown on the vehicle's page before you book.
Delivery to Tbilisi and Kutaisi airports
Most people flying into Georgia want the car waiting when they land. We deliver to Tbilisi International Airport (TBS), about an hour and a half away, and to Kutaisi International Airport (KUT), about two and a half hours away. Delivery is priced per vehicle, per airport and per direction, so a one-way delivery and a return collection are separate choices rather than a bundle you cannot opt out of.
Give us your flight number and arrival time at checkout and we meet the flight. If it is delayed we wait — a flight number is a thing we can look up, which is exactly why we ask for it instead of a guessed arrival time.
What you need to drive
A valid driving licence, checked in person when you collect the car. We do not ask for a licence number online and we do not verify one at checkout — the check happens at handover, and without a valid licence you will not be able to take the car. Holding one is your responsibility.
We also ask for the driver's name and phone number when you book, so that the person meeting you knows who they are handing a vehicle to.
Where a car actually gets you
From the ranch, Gori and the Stalin Museum are ten kilometres away and Tbilisi is a comfortable hour and a half. Kakheti's wine roads, the Ananuri fortress and the Georgian Military Highway up towards Kazbegi are all day trips you can make and come back from the same evening.
The cave city of Uplistsikhe is close enough to walk to, so the car is for everywhere else. Parking at the property is free and private, by the gate.

- Can the car be delivered to the airport?
- Yes. We deliver to Tbilisi International Airport (TBS) and Kutaisi International Airport (KUT). Delivery is priced per vehicle, per airport and per direction, and you choose it when you book. Give us your flight number and arrival time at checkout and we will meet the flight.
- What documents do I need to rent a car?
- A valid driving licence, which is checked in person when you collect the car. We do not ask for or check a licence number online. Without a valid licence you will not be able to drive the car, and you are responsible for holding one.
- What currency are the prices in?
- All prices are in Georgian lari (GEL). You pay online by card when you book.
- Can I cancel a car rental or get a refund?
- No. Bookings cannot be cancelled and nothing paid is returned, for the car rental as for everything else on the booking. The only exception is if we cannot provide what you booked, in which case we cancel it and refund you without you having to ask.
- Can I book a car and a tour together?
- No — a tour already includes transport with its own driver, so a rental car cannot be added to the same booking. Book one or the other for a given trip.
